We’re a family of immigrants and long-time locals who built this place around a simple idea: cannabis deserves better than the corner store and the stigma that came with it. Just steps from Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and Grand Army Plaza, we opened a space where cannabis feels like what it actually is: a thoughtful part of grown-up life.That's where this starts. Long before BK Greenery had a name, a logo, or a storefront on Flatbush, it was Sunday dinners and long conversations around the table. It was figuring out what it means to build something together, what Brooklyn has given us, and what we wanted to give back. We are immigrants and long-time locals. We are parents, daughters, sons, siblings. We've watched this borough shape who we are, and we're proud to plant something here that's ours.

We opened because cannabis deserves better than the corner store and the stigma that came with it. For too long, this plant has lived in the shadows. It’s been misunderstood, criminalized, and stripped of the care and craft it deserves. We grew up watching that story play out, and watching the wrong people pay the price. Legalization gave New York a chance to write a new chapter, and we wanted to be part of the story with the standards, design, and integrity the moment calls for.
